Nuhad Haffar-Orsini is a Lebanese-Canadian visual artist and designer based in Oakville, Ontario. Her practice explores histories of migration through ceramics and metalwork — materials chosen for their durability and their capacity to change. Drawing on a background in graphic design and fashion art direction, she works with distortion of form to render experiences of alienation and disorientation tangible, holding opposing forces in tension: weight and fragility, preservation and decay.
